With rental car or motorbike, you can go directly from UIB to Port des Canonge (beach). Stop in Valldemossa on your way back to walk around Chopin’s infamous village and taste the delicious coca de patata!

At the hottest time of the day, the best option is to visit the cathedral of Palma (la seu). Do not miss the Barcelo’s chapel in the front right corner, a modern piece of art! Later on, relax at the nearby beaches. By public transportation there several options available:

• from plaza España to Illetas, nice beach with a small island at swimming distance
• from plaza España to Arenal for sandy beach, or Cala Blava
• from plaza España walk to Can Pere Antoni (playa next to downtown) or walk a bit more to El Molinar
